The electrical and control systems decide whether a power plant is reliable. VA-Energy designs, installs, commissions and upgrades LV and MV switchgear, protection relay schemes, synchronisation systems, generator control systems and SCADA, and we manufacture our own synchronising panel design.
The hard faults — protection coordination, transient tripping, control-system integration — are handled by engineers who have seen the problems in the field, and who can assess most of them remotely from plant data before anyone travels.
Existing plants can be upgraded in stages: a new controller family, a SCADA layer, or a protection study and relay re-coordination, without a rebuild.
