How VA-Energy handles the information you send us.
This notice explains what happens to the information you provide through this website.
What we collect
What you enter in the contact form: your name, company, email address, and optionally a telephone or WhatsApp number, your country or site location, the type of enquiry and the message itself. The IP address the enquiry was sent from is also recorded, for the reason given under Protection against automated submissions. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of visitors.
Why we hold it
To respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to a quotation or a contract, to carry out that work. We do not sell or share your details with third parties, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
Protection against automated submissions
The form carries a hidden field that automated systems fill in and people do not, and it measures how long the form was open before it was sent. Submissions failing either check are discarded. The sending IP address is used to limit how many enquiries one source can send in a short period, and is included in the enquiry we receive. These checks run on VA-Energy’s own systems; no third-party bot-detection service is used and no information is passed to one.
Who processes it
The website and the form are hosted on Microsoft Azure, and the enquiry is delivered to a VA-Energy mailbox using Microsoft services. Microsoft acts as our processor and does not use the content of enquiries for its own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as they remain commercially relevant, and thereafter deleted.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form and mark the enquiry type as Other.
