Fuel quality is the largest single influence on the availability of an HFO plant, and fuel is the largest single operating cost of any thermal plant.
VA-Energy designs, builds, operates and maintains the complete fuel chain: tanker unloading, bulk storage, heating, separation and purification, day tanks and booster units feeding the engines. We run HFO treatment plants as part of our O&M scope, so the systems we build are the systems we know how to keep clean, hot and reliable — and we diagnose the fuel-related faults that present as engine problems.
