Solar PV and battery energy storage
Thermal generation is increasingly paired with solar PV and battery energy storage to cut fuel consumption and running hours without putting supply at risk. VA-Energy integrates PV and BESS alongside diesel and HFO plant — control and protection philosophy, synchronisation, load sharing and the operating strategy that decides when the engines run — so the hybrid plant behaves as one power station rather than two systems sharing a busbar.
